The annual Fire Company Carnival will be held May 15 through May 24 in Washington Crossing. Hours are 6:00-10:00 pm each night, with pay one price-ride all night on Thursday, May 15 and Monday, May 19. As always, parking is free!

This year's Revolutionary Run will benefit the Victoria Haug Memorial Scholarship Fund. Many volunteers are needed to make this July 4 event a success. If you can help in any way - big or small - or for more information, please call the Township Office at 215-968-3340. One-Mile Fun Run begins at 8:00 am. 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:15 am and 10K Road Race begins at 8:30 am. Register online at Active.com.
A Testimonial Dinner saluting Congressman Murphy, former Congressman Fitzpatrick and BC Director of Military and Veterans Affairs Daniel Fraley as well as the many hard working veterans and community leaders for their efforts which resulted in bringing the National Veterans Cemetery to this area. Dinner to be held May 24 from 7-11 pm at King's Caterers in Bristol, PA . Tickets cost $35 and are available by calling 215-943-7771.
The 2007-2008 Fund Drive of the Upper Makefield Fire Company is underway. Contributions are tax deductible with .97 of every dollar benefiting the Fire Company. The suggested guide is 1/10 of 1% of the property value or 25% of the annual cost of fire insurance. Our fund drive is organized and conducted by volunteer members, and proceeds are used for training, equipment replacement and debt service on the new building.
