Brownsburg Park

(between Brownsburg Road East and Stoneybrook Road)

A new, ADA-compliant playground with play areas designated for younger and older children opened in 2008. With the help of donations and sponsorships, the township has recently added a pavilion with restrooms, concession space and a covered picnic area.

Fundraising efforts: Buy a Brick Campaign, License Plates and Blankets, and sponsorship opportunities.

Lookout Park

(between Lurgan Road and Brownsburg Road East)

This park has 3 baseball fields, 2 softball fields, the “Tenderfoot Trail” for walkers and bikers, plus a snack shack and restrooms.

State-owned Parks

Washington Crossing Historic Park
Visit the site of the most famous event in Upper Makefield’s history – George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River in 1776! You can also stroll through Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, which preserves the native plants of Pennsylvania.

Delaware Canal State Park
The Delaware Canal is the only continuously-intact canal remaining from the great towpath era of the early and mid-19th century.
