Upper Makefield is a second-class township in Bucks County, Pa. governed by a 5-member Board of Supervisors. Under the board’s direction, township manager Stephanie Teoli manages the operation of the township and its departments, including administration, finance, building & code enforcement, public works, and public safety.

In addition to his current supervisor position, Tom has been very active within the Upper Makefield community and has served on many township committees. He was a member of the Park and Recreation Board from 2001-2009 and served as chairman in 2008 and 2009. He was also a member of the Environmental Advisory Council from 2001-2009 and was chairman in 2008.

Tom has been has also been a member of the Lions Club since 1998, the Heritage Hills Landscape Committee since 2001, and the Upper Makefield Business Association since 2007.

Tom moved to the township in 1976 and today lives in Heritage Hills with his wife, Angie.
