Washington Crossing Toll-Supported Bridge Near-Term Improvements

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has launched a $3.4 million project to make a series of immediate repairs/improvements to the Washington Crossing Toll-Supported Bridge and its approaches.  

Because this work will necessitate a shutdown of the bridge's vehicular lanes for an undetermined period of time in 2010, the Commission plans to utilize the closing as an opportunity to make additional improvements to the bridge. 

The Commission's current goal is to begin the project in early 2010 complete final design work in the fall of 2010.
