Upper Makefield Township

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) is completing the final design phase of the improvement/repair project of the Washington Crossing Toll-Supported Bridge.  Once that process is completed, construction and engineering bids will be advertised and awarded.  If work follows the current timetable, construction could  begin this summer.  The bridge closure and 6.7 mile detour is expected to last 47 days.  For further information and updates, visit the DRJTBC website.
